The Power of Words

We all as spiritual entrepreneurs are aware that there is power in words. We know that what we put out comes back to us and that concept has a lot more to do with our thoughts, intent and words, than it does with physical acts. Nearly every spiritual belief system has something within its tenets that tells us about the power of our words to change our own worlds, as well as the world of those around us.

I personally discovered the power of words after having experienced a bad relationship breakup that put me into an 8-year cycle of negativity and skepticism where my cup was always perceived as half empty & I was sure to be heard telling everyone else that they were delusional if they thought theirs was half full. One day on FaceBook something prompted me to comment on a post one of my friends had just put up and she told me about a 40 day process she had once done where she focused on only the positive that came from or existed in every situation. She then made sure to use those positive feelings as her motivation throughout her day. At the end of the day she made sure to state how grateful she was for all of those positive things in her day. I was prompted by her description of the experience to do my own 40 day experiment just to see how it turned out (of course skeptical about whether it would make any sort of a difference). That experiment changed my life. The next thing I know, I'm watching spiritual films and seeing the point in an entirely different way, meeting Dr. Masuru Emoto in person and speaking with him about his water experiments and changing the world, loving The Secret Life of Plants and working with Colin Tipping. My life was radically changed by a multitude of experiences that came after that one simple 40 day experiment.

So why does all of this matter? Am I trying to tell you that social media changed my life? In a way... Yes that is exactly what I am saying... social media changed my life, but on a much deeper level than that.

SOMEONE JUST LIKE YOU CHANGED MY LIFE ON SOCIAL MEDIA!

Do you see the difference now? The different choice I chose in my words made a complete difference in the perception.

It changed from a scenario where social media simply changed my life - which produces images of me all alone somewhere tinking around on the internet slowly but surely raising my rankings and little by little becoming the full time social media consultant I am today & blah blah blah blah. Whoopidy doo!

To a scenario where someone like you changed my life on social media - which produces images of someone with a depth of knowing on a spiritual and personal level, who has endured many years of training and learning in their own lives and who cares exactly what happens to every individual in the world because they care about the world - that person YOU sitting behind a computer sending LOVE through their wireless connection and saving my life like an electro-magnetic interference of the heart! WOW! That's all there is to say about that.... WOW - what a difference you can make by being here!

That is exactly what this video below is telling us in its simple way. Change your words, Change your World!! Notice the point of this video and this post. By simply changing your words to elicit a different vibration not only will you change someone's world, but there will begin a flow into theirs and your own life that brings exactly the abundance you believe exists.

The 4 W's of Blogging (The Who is YOU!)

WHAT is a blog?

A blog is a type of website that is usually maintained by an individual who generally posts articles, commentaries, events descriptions, graphics, podcasts, videos and much more at regular intervals. Blogs are usually geared to be interactive in a way that allows readers to make comments and in some cases even message one another via widgets and plugins. The main trait which distinguishes a blog from other static websites is the interactivity. A typical blog will combine commentary, text, links to other blogs and sites, images &/or podcasts or videos and will require consistent and regular updates in order to be a success on any level.

WHEN should you blog?

If you exist in a physical earthly body you should blog. Every person who has a desire to promote themselves as an individual, entrepreneur or business needs to have a blog and post regularly. The more frequently you blog the more visitors you will have, the more visitors there are to your blog the higher your potential to establish yourself as an expert in your field, and the higher the likelihood your blog will be linked elsewhere. How frequently you make your blog posts is completely up to you, but I would suggest a minimum of one time per week to start. Your posts don't necessarily have to be long or even written, but you should have posts on your blog at least once per week if you intend to establish any sort of reputation for yourself at all.

WHERE should you blog?

There are a plethora of choices where a person can blog on any level. I would recommend that you go with WordPress as it has one of the simplest template systems. With WordPress you will need to brainstorm a URL for your blog, register it with someone like GoDaddy and host it through a hosting service such as BlueHost. There is also the possibility of configuring a tab on your main website that uses a WordPress template. WordPress allows for a multitude of plugins that will allow you to monitor spam, have social interaction on your site, collect email addresses for your newsletter, backups so that you don't lose your work and much more. WordPress is also set up for SEO which will assist you in the process of pushing people to your website and getting your blog ranked more highly in the search rankings, which in turn brings you more customers, clients, readers, potential customers, followers etc.

You can also get a blog free through Blogger (Where this blog is posted) which has simple to use templates. Blogger is a simple tool that is easy to use and a great way to get into blogging if you are a beginner. If you are new to blogging all together this is a good way to get started and work toward becoming a more serious blogger. Blogger is not optimized nearly as well as WordPress for SEO and other processes that will assist you in bringing potential customers in so if that is your focus you will work a bit harder. Blogger is something I recommend for new bloggers just trying to get the hang of blogging before moving up to WordPress. (Though you can go directly to WordPress and simply save yourself a step).

WHY Should you blog?

Blogging is one of the top ways to bring new customers and clients to your business (along with article writing, press releases). Blogs are keyword rich for searches that your potential clients will be searching for via their online searches, they serve to increase your image and establish you as an expert in your field, they are usually optimized for SEO so that your site goes up in rankings as you blog more frequently. Blogs do not only serve to increase your brand image and establish you as an expert, they also are one of, if not THE prime method in which to prompt people toward visiting your main website and in turn purchasing your products and services. Without blogging both your image and your website clicks will suffer in comparison to others in your field.

In the end it all comes down to the fact that without a blog you will be left behind by your peers. Blogging (along with article writing and press releases) is the main way to promote your brand image and push people to your products and services & with everyone else doing it, the simple fact is, you cannot afford not to.

Sarah Palin Takes on the Media (Lets Find the Hypocritical Statements)

Actually she has a few good points for those of you out there who would immediately assume she has nothing worthwhile to say. In the beginning of this video for instance she speaks about bloggers asking when they became the source for what people believed regarding the truth. She also makes a good point when speaking of how when Obama mentioned that family was off limits apparently his supporters didn't respect his point of view too much or they would have left hers alone. These are points I can definitely agree with her on.

On the other hand, when speaking of bloggers she talks about lies asking "what is it that drives someone to believe the worst and perpetuate the worst in terms of gossip/lies?" But wait... wasn't she one of the ones spreading those lies about her opponents during the campaign? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFeBvuzz7Bs This is the same woman who told everyone over and over again that she said "thanks but no thanks" to the bridge to nowhere which was a lie or for those of you defending her a twisted truth; she told us all about her plane that she sold on eBay when she only put it on eBay but didn't sell it; she lied about taking a voluntary paycut as mayor but her salary actually increased; She said she wasn't going to judge people who believe that gay people are born that way etc. etc. yet she is a member of a church with a "pray the gay away" program; She said that her state produced 20% of this country's domestic supply of energy and/or of oil and gas which is a lie; she said she increased funding for students with special needs but the truth is she reduced that funding by decreasing the Special Olympics budget; she says she championed earmark reform to stop Congress from wasting money but if that is true then there would be an extra 2 million dollars for her state after she denied the funding for a study on the mating habits of crabs which didn't happen; Let's not go into her twisting of the facts even after the findings relating to her attempted witch hunt firing of her ex brother in law. In addition to her own lies her campaign people told a few of their own like the one about her going to Iraq and she didn't; they talked about the teleprompter breaking at the Republican Convention when neutral witnesses said it didn't. The list goes on and on with her lies as they began to morph from just lies about herself into lies about Obama.

Forceable Strip Search Video - Men Stripping An Innocent Woman

Crazy video. On the news. Crazy!!! Makes your angry lower self want to whip some cop ass. Your higher self has to work hard to convince you that "The Master's tools will never dismantle the master's house" and that violence simply breeds more violence.

Got Milk?

Check out this video of a new method of getting milk in your coffee at the coffee shop. Apparently it was a candid camera moment at some coffee shop somewhere. Hilarious but don't let the kids watch it unless they can drive themselves to the coffee shop.

Thriller In The Philippines

Finally!! A video worth posting on the blog. This video is a great one. In this video more than 1500 men of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) are practicing for a performance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller". These guys are not being punished believe it or not. They are all choosing to take part in this "thrilling" performance. The CPDRC has many political detainees and is under "allegedly" constant threat from various groups such as the "New People's Army (NPA)". No matter what the reason either to relieve the stress of the pending doom from the "alleged" attacks on the prison or just to relieve the stress of being in prison, this dancing has to be fun. (Especially for those who end up getting to dress in drag).

Albanians Love Bush and America

Well Surprise, Surprise!!!! There is a country other than the U.S. which loves the U.S. It's kind of amazing really when you think of it. The entire world takes turns being helped by us and being damaged by us to the point that no one really knows when one or the other is happening and the mood is much the same as the actions. Half the time other countries seem to love us and the other half they seem to hate us. Our own people seem to teeter and totter back and forth between love and hate depending on who is in office and other political goings on that may be occurring at any given point in time. In this particular case I wonder if Albanians love America more than Americans do. As stupid as it may seem to support Bush at any time you have to admit it's a bit touching really. I think it's great that somone loves our country so passionately and if I were Bush I would be in love with Albanians after that reception. check out the video.

THE FOLLOWING IS A COPY PASTE OF SOMEONE FROM KOSOVO'S BLOG ENTRY RELATING TO THIS VIDEO: 10th June 2007 A historic date for all Albanians President Bush is given a hero's welcome in Albania. This is the first visit ever of a serving president of USA to visit Albania and will be remembered long time, even though it only lasted eight hours. Albania is the only country where no one has seen any protests against USA or the President. Some even say the Albanians are the most proamerican people on the planet. This is not a hoax. This is a real deal and there is a reason for it. Why Albanians love Americans? Simply because americans are a freedom loving people and they showed this love in practice many times in the history of Albanians (and other small nations) by defending the Albania's right to exist as a state despite the appetite of many world powers and neighboring countries to carve and erase the country from the map. e.g. USA's President Wilson in 1919, at the Paris Peace Conference, was a crucial voice that saved Albania from being ceased as a state. Also in a more recent case, in 1999, it was USA and United Kingdom (leading) that saved kosovar albanians from being extinct by the killing machinery of Serbia. Therefore, the actions of the american people speak very loud about their just intentions towards small nations like Albanians. And remember, Kosovo had no oil worthy of such intervention in 1999! You americans should be proud of your soldiers who risk their own life to bring peace and stability to the world. They need your support! Albania as a state had its ups and downs in relations with USA, but after fall of communism in 1990 (something that America and Bush Senior again helped to get rid off), since then, Albania and albanians are back on track to drive forward a lasting relationship with the american people. We urge the american government to be more involved in Albania and Kosovo, to work closely with Albanians and deter potential involvements of radical islamists who may want to exploit new democracies like ours, by offering the very much needed financial incentives, but with a high price in return. We are aware of this, but we need your help! Albanians are a nation that will long remember your sincere attitude and support in our cause to freedom and democracy. Albanians stand united with Americans in the War on Terror! If you are told different, don't believe them! They are all ill wishers and they'll do anything to convince you otherwise! SUPPORT INDEPENDENCE FOR KOSOVA! TIME IS NOW! http://videoshqip.blogspot.com p.s. If you are an american and you ever thought that America should not get involved or intervene in hot spots around the world, we Kosovar albanians are a living proof to show you that such intervention are needed to bring order and democracy in the world. If you think that by turning your back to the sufferings of other people will make your life better, you are terribly wrong and that makes you a bad person. Sooner or later, the global instability is going to effect your home. War is never ok, but we come from there and had it not been for America's intervention, there would have been hardly anyone to tell you what really happened in Kosova. p.p.s. Bush dropped his watch, time 00:54! As you may notice in the video, Bush's wristwatch fell off at some point, but it has been confirmed by media (VizionPlus TV) that it was found by the bodyguards who handed it over to Lady Bush later on. And you will see in many other videos Bush wearing his watch again while entering Air Force One during departure as he waives back to us. If he had a spare watch, most likely it would have been inside the airplane, therefore, there is no doubt that Bush got his original watch back and everything was accidental. So, don't worry, be happy, time is still ticking on and everything is in Bush's hands! Kosovo will be Independent soon, think of 4th July 2007 as the day of happening, where we can celebrate together with Americans, The Independence Day. p.p.p.s. Bush's wristwatch! Ok, we admit the wristwatch enigma is very humorous. But, all puzzle pieces are falling into places. Watch closely at 01:00 (03:06 if embedded) in this video, President Bush puts his hands behind his back, while a bodyguard standing very close to him behind, takes off his watch. The watch then has been returned by the bodyguard to Laura and Bush got his watch back by the time he climbed the airplane, where you can see visibly while waiving, he's had his watch back! Puzzle solved but yes we've had a good laugh after all!

Stop Sanctions Against The Sudanese Regime That Has Killed And Displaced Thousands In Darfur Or You Will Lose Coca-Cola Forever

Scary thought right? To have to choose between having a Coke and a smile or stopping genocide. Hmmmmm. I wonder what we will do? Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, the Sudanese ambassador to Washington, held a press conference and threatened to take away Coca-Cola if we didn't stop the sanctions against his country which were imposed because over 400,000 people have been killed and others displaced and raped and more in a mass genocide against the people of Darfur. The Washington Post did an article highlighting some of the more idiotic things the ambassador said in defense of his country. Among the things the ambassador said was that the U.S. was the only country that said anything bad was happening in his country, that no one is dying in Darfur accept those who are fighting with their own people like cousins against cousins, that he and the other members of his government are the agents of peace, that the retaliation of his government would be to stop the trade of gum arabic to the U.S. which would prevent us from having Coca-Cola among other things, and that he would remove sugar from the people of Darfur which they greatly need in order to survive. There is more and eventually you have to realize that this guy is an idiot. He is the one they sent to represent his people in Washington and he isn't the brightest bulb so I am wondering what the rest of the people in his government must be like. With people like him running things it's no wonder they are killing off people in mass quantities. Dumb people are put into fear easily and fear makes dumb people do dumb things. Just look at our country.

Andrew Card Boo'd Off Stage at UMass Commencement When Getting His "Honorary" Degree

Andrew Card assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff and to the President was boo'd off stage at the UMASS commencement when the university attempted to award him an honorary degree. Many of the graduates wore "no card" papers pinned to their robes as they walked to their seats. Some had the sign put on the tops of thier hats so the crowd could see them as they sat and listened to the speaches. The crowd began to boo as soon as they started to give the speach about card and many stood up with banners and signs against him. I don't know enough about the guy to say what I think about him and what I don't or what I think about him being boo'd off stage. I do think that if that many of the people attending the commencement (especially the students who actually earned their degrees) disagree with the honorary degree being given then they should wait for another time. After all the graduation ceremony is for the students who earned their degrees and not the rest of us right?

Another Hitchens Video

This time he is battling Hannity. Hannity drives me nuts. He has various good points to make here and there but the problem with him is that he is not willing to listen to other people's points of view and learn from them. The thing that amazes me about this issue is that people are mad because there are those who tell the truth about Falwell and they ask for someone to respect them in their death by saying nothing negative about the guy even though he is a negative individual. The same people that say this are the ones who said all sorts of negative crap about Saddam when he was killed.

Christopher Hitchins Tells the Truth About Falwell

I don't know who this guy Christopher Hitchens is but he has a book out called "God is Not Great" and is on CNN talking about Jerry Falwell in this video clip. I have to agree with all that he says. He's not being an ass and wishing the guy dead or praising the fact that he is dead, but he's not giving the guy all sorts of credit for being a great guy when he wasn't. Falwell had a twisted view of the bible and propagandized the gullible nation. He and anyone else for that matter should only get credit if they do their job accurately and with quality. It seems that religion and politics are the only places we can get away with that crap. Any who...... here's the video.

Interesting Statistics on Internet Porn

Here are some interesting statistics on Internet Porn which will give you some insight on our country. A couple of things that are funny when I think about it after watching this video. First of all the U.S. Produces 89% of the porn on the internet yet everyday people are protesting "adult toy stores" and strip clubs etc. Interesting that 70% of the porn viewed every day is viewed during the 9-5 workday. Ladies that tells you what your husbands are getting accomplished at work, and you know it's the husbands because only 28% of internet porn viewers are female. Not only that but people in congress bring up different fights against particular parts of the porn industry while they are at work and yet the U.S. Revenue made from Internet porn alone is $2.84 billion yearly. Check out the video the statistics are presented in an interesting way. However, do not view it with minors around you until you have viewed it first for their approval. There is no nudity in the video but the idea of nudity is clear which only serves to assist a little hormonal teenager's mind.

This is What Drunk People Do To Their Families

Check out this video of David Hasselhoff so frickin' drunk that he can barely eat. He must have gotten so drunk that he passed out on the floor of his house where his assistant had to feed him cheese burgers from Wendy's while his teenaged daughter begs him to quit being a drunk slob.
